Privacy Summary
VitaStow is built on one simple rule: your information stays on your phone. Your routines, notes, document photos, and local profiles are kept safely on your device. We don't have a user database, we don't track you, and we never sell data.

1. Local information
Routines, reminders, check-ins, document images, recognized text, notes, and local profile labels are processed in app-private storage on your device. Structured records use a SQLCipher-encrypted database. VitaStow does not provide a developer-operated record account or record database.
2. Offline text reading
Text recognition reads visible words directly on your device using Google ML Kit. Google states that ML Kit does not send input images, recognized text, or recognition output to its servers. Results remain editable and must be checked against the source image. VitaStow does not interpret or classify the text.
3. Local profiles
Profiles separate authorized records on the same device. They are not remote accounts or monitoring services. Only add another person's information when you have lawful authority and permission.
4. Purchases and permissions
Apple or Google processes purchases and limited transaction, entitlement, platform, and technical information directly. Private records are not sent to external billing servers. Camera, photo, notification, and biometric permissions are used only for the related feature.
5. ML Kit technical metrics
Google ML Kit sends limited device and app identifiers, product-interaction, performance, diagnostic, API-configuration, and event metrics to Google for SDK functionality, usage analytics, and diagnostics. These metrics do not include input images, recognized text, or recognition output. VitaStow does not use them to build a behavioural advertising profile.
6. Sharing, retention, and deletion
VitaStow does not sell private records or use them for targeted advertising. Information leaves the app through Apple or Google purchase processing, the limited ML Kit metrics described above, or through a user-directed export, backup, share destination, or external link. Local records remain until you edit or delete them, delete all app data, or uninstall. Exported copies must be deleted at their destination.
7. Security and limitation
Android application backup is disabled and private iOS record storage is excluded from iCloud backup. No security control is perfect. Protect your device, backup password, and exported files.
