Privacy Summary
Vitastow is built from the ground up on local-first privacy. Your routines, reminders, document images, OCR text, and private records are processed and encrypted directly on your device. We do not operate a remote record cloud, do not track your behavior, and never sell personal data.
On-Device OCR
Text recognition runs entirely on your device with no cloud transmission. You review and verify all output.
Household Profiles
Profiles partition authorized records locally on one device. No remote monitoring or inter-device tracking.
Zero Ad & Sale
No behavioral trackers, analytics SDKs, or personal data sales. You hold the key to exports and authenticated backups.
Detailed Policy Sections
1. Local information
Routines, reminders, check-ins, document images, OCR text, notes, and household profile labels are processed in app-private storage on your device. Structured records use a SQLCipher-encrypted database. Vitastow does not provide a developer-operated record account or record database.
2. On-device OCR
OCR transcribes visible text on your device. The image and recognized text are not sent to the developer for OCR. Results remain editable and must be checked against the source image. Vitastow does not interpret or classify the text.
3. Household profiles
Profiles separate authorized records on the same device. They are not remote accounts or monitoring services. Only add another person's information when you have lawful authority and permission.
4. Purchases and permissions
Apple or Google processes purchases and limited transaction, entitlement, platform, and technical information directly. Private records are not sent to external billing servers. Camera, photo, notification, and biometric permissions are used only for the related feature.
5. Sharing, retention, and deletion
Vitastow does not sell private records or use them for targeted advertising. Information leaves the app when you choose an export, backup, share destination, or external link. Local records remain until you edit or delete them, delete all app data, or uninstall. Exported copies must be deleted at their destination.
6. Security and limitation
Android application backup is disabled and private iOS record storage is excluded from iCloud backup. No security control is perfect. Protect your device, backup password, and exported files.
